Over the past few days, we've explored trust, communication, respect, and integrity as core values in our relationships. These core values are essential for building strong, meaningful relationships. Today, let's focus on another crucial value: feeling safe.
Feeling safe in a relationship means knowing you can be your true self without fear of judgment, rejection, or harm. It's about creating an environment where both partners feel secure, valued, and understood. When we feel safe, our relationships can flourish.
Day 5 Prompt: Authenticity...
Take a moment to consider what authenticity means to you in a relationship. How do you express your true self to others? Reflect on past experiences where authenticity played a significant role. Write about your thoughts and feelings regarding authenticity and its significance in your life.
If you feel stuck or if this feels overwhelming, I invite you to take a deep breath in through your nose, exhale any tension or resistance through your mouth, and write the journal prompt in your journal. Write for three minutes (or longer if you wish). There are no rules. Let the words flow freely without judgment. Write from the heart and trust what the practice has to offer.
Feel free to share your reflections or any insights you gain from today's journaling in the comments. Let's support each other on this journey as we explore these core values throughout the week.
Journaling the way forward, one page at a time.
Michele
