With the start of a new month on the horizon, I like to pause and reflect on the month that's passed and plan for the month ahead—a practice I've integrated into my routine. I invite you to join me in this reflective journaling practice. Here are four journal prompts to guide you through your month in review.
Top Three Most Memorable Moments:
Think back to the moments in the past month that deeply touched your heart. These could be instances of joy, connection, achievement, or even quiet reflection. Take some time to write about these experiences in detail, cherishing the emotions they brought.
Two Lessons Learned:
Life is a continuous learning journey. Reflect on the lessons that the past month offered you. What insights did you gain from your experiences, both positive and challenging? Consider how these lessons can shape your path moving forward.
One Word to Summarize the Month:
If you had to sum up the past month in just one word, what would it be? What one word comes to mind?
My Intention for Next Month:
Look ahead and set an intention for the new month. What do you hope to achieve, experience, or work on in the coming weeks? How can you build on the reflections from this past month to make the upcoming month even more fulfilling?
Monthly reflection is a powerful tool for self-awareness, personal development, and mindful living. These journal prompts can serve as your guide through life's changing seasons, making it a valuable practice to adopt each month.
Wishing you mindful moments.
